If you have been living with the same decor for years and are looking for a fresh perspective, our colour service can help you to create something new and exciting. We can help you make rooms look lighter, brighter, wider, more contemporary, and more traditional, in keeping with a historical setting or specific architecture. We can help you create the perfect cinema room, games room or other new space.
Using our design knowledge and experience across a breadth of house, villa, yacht and hotel projects, our Colour Consultants have extensive expertise to guide you. We can help you select a colour palette and offer advice that is tailored to you, your family and your space.
The Colour Lab consultancy service provides you with a bespoke colour palette for your home. Whether you’re looking for advice for just a few rooms or a whole home, we will take into account the architecture and light, then talk through possible colour schemes to capture your personality and style into your desired effect.

HOW THE COLOUR LAB SERVICE WORKS
1. Book a Colour Lab consultation
Before your consultation, we recommend that you gather together any inspirational pictures, materials and research that you might already have done, including a picture of the outside of your property. Think about what you would like to achieve and also what you have done in the past that has or hasn’t worked. Consider other finishes for your surfaces e.g. wallpapers.
2. Meet with our Colour Consultant
We will discuss your ideas, likes and dislikes! How you use the rooms and how you would like them to feel. We will consider how the light affects the space and consider everything from the architecture of the building the overall look and feel of the property and any special furniture or items you would like to be a part of the room.
Your Colour Lab consultation can be online or face-to-face for those who live in the New Forest area. If you live outside of the New Forest area and would like a face-to-face consultation, please get in touch to discuss distance and costings.
Face-to-face gives us a really good chance to get a sense of the property and touch and feel your other finishes.
Digital consultations require you to have a tablet or video phone so that we see the space and get a feel of the overall interiors and style.
3. Receive your bespoke colour specification pack
After your Colour Lab consultation, we will email you a detailed summary and send by post a colour specification pack with details of recommended colours and finishes for each different area (e.g. ceilings, covings, walls, skirtings, architraves). We typically work with the colour ranges from Farrow and Ball, Coat, Mylands and Little Greene.
Please note that costings include one round of revisions. Any further amendments will be charged separately.
